Terms and Conditions
– Please Read
Due to the nature of our Safaris,
certain inherent risks are always present. While we take all reasonable
care to ensure your trip goes safely and smoothly, the final responsibility
for your safety is in your hands, particularly in the jungle.
As with any adventure sports
event, you will be asked to sign a liability waiver
upon payment prior to your departure. While you will automatically
be covered by our own event personal and medical insurance, we
also strongly recommend you have a valid travel insurance policy.
Parents are to be responsible
for those under their care.
As a tropical country, Malaysia
occasionally has extreme weather conditions, with heavy rains,
high temperatures and changes in river levels potentially present.
Bear in mind that landslides, washouts, fallen trees, floods and
other such occurrences may cause delays en route and result in
changes to the itinerary.
We will not be liable for any
delays, loss of income or missed connections and flights due to
these natural events. Also, any additional costs incurred by us
due to any variations or delays in the itinerary caused by you
will be at your expense.
What you need to bring
(apart from a sense of fun and adventure!)
Even though our vehicles are
well equipped, we ask that you don’t forget to bring along
a few personal items that will make your Safari with us all the
more enjoyable:
Day Safari
Light, cool and comfortable clothing
Proper outdoor footwear is important i.e. good sport sandals
Swimwear
Bath towel
Sunblock or suntan lotion
A raincoat or waterproof jacket
Any personal medications
Overnight Safari and
Malayan Overland
As above, but add on:
Personal toiletries
Change of clothes
Insect repellant
Flashlight
We’d like to remind you
that the Rainforest is wonderful treasure that all of us need
to protect. With this in mind, we seek your cooperation to refrain
from littering and using the river as a toilet. Please do not
remove plants, fruits or any other items from the jungle. Each
vehicle carries a waste sack for you to dispose of any litter.
We follow the saying of “Take Nothing but Photographs,
leave Nothing but Footprints” We hope you will
bear this in mind to help preserve and protect the Rainforest.
While we take all efforts to
ensure your Safari goes safely and smoothly, we would also ask
you be careful in the jungle, particularly while climbing over
rocks in the river, and while trekking. While our guides are trained
in first aid and all vehicles equipped with kits, prevention is
always better than cure!
The normal vaccinations taken
against Malaria and other tropical diseases before arriving in
Malaysia would suffice for your trip with us.
